Notes

    • * Courses can be interchanged in any designated semester as long as all course numbers are completed
    • ** Art education courses are in a 3 course rotation; the first course (AR 216) should be taken in the second semester of the freshman year or the sophomore year in order to complete in 4 years.
    • Art Education students with any emphasis other than Drawing or Design must complete 125 credits of required courses in order to complete the degree requirements
    • Most courses in the freshman year can be interchanged between Fall and Spring
    • Students should check with their advisor to ensure their major area will be offered in the semesters indicated and adjust accordingly if the emphasis course if off-rotation
    • Gen Ed courses can be taken in any of the designated semesters; science classes should be taken earlier than indicated if the students has completed Math
    • Courses in Bold must be taken in the semester indicated in order to complete in 4 years
    • Drawing courses, art electives & courses within the emphasis area may also be available in summer using the AR 379 prefix; these course will be substituted for required courses as needed
