Meet Coleton Haight

The chemistry degree program at Adams State prepares you to succeed in advanced degree programs, for jobs in industry, or to teach in secondary schools. You’ll begin with a study of the principles and applications of chemistry before delving into advanced topics. You’ll get hands-on experience working with state-of-the-art laboratory instruments, as you design scientific experiments, conduct research, analyze data and interpret results.

As you complete your coursework, you’ll have opportunities to work independently and with your classmates as productive members of a group. Upon graduation, you’ll understand the connections between chemistry/biochemistry and society, the environment, and technology.
