Military Experience Credit
- Military service credit (formal school training only) is processed when official documents or transcripts are received at ASU.
- Only courses found in the American Council on Education Guide or on transcripts (CCAF, AARTS, SMART) can be evaluated.
- Locally conducted (base- or post-level) courses are generally not accepted due to their unstructured and changing content.
- The chairperson from the academic department where you expect to earn your degree will make the final decision as to how the credit will be awarded.
- Course work accepted from the Community College of the Air Force (CCAF) is not considered military credit. It is considered transfer credit from a regionally accrediting community college. Review of CCAF credits will be completed following Adams State University transfer policies.

AIR FORCE
U.S. Air Force students/veterans provide ASU with a transcript from the Community College of the Air Force. Options for obtaining a copy of your CCAF transcript include
- completing an AF Form 2099 - Request for Community College of the Air Force Transcript available at the nearest Education Office, or
- sending a letter of request with your signature, full name or former name if appropriate, Social Security Account Number, current address including ZIP Code, and ASU address listed above
