International Undergraduate Admissions:

Thank you for considering Adams State College as your next step in your educational career. Adams State College (ASC) is a small, public liberal arts college located in Southern Colorado. Adams State is recognized for offering excellent academic programs and personal attention.

Some of the most popular majors at ASC include business, biology and chemistry (including pre-med), psychology, and teacher education. All classes are taught by professors (not graduate students), offering students the opportunity to work closely with experts in their field.

Adams State College is also recognized for offering the most affordable tuition. ASC welcomes all international students.

International Graduate Admissions:

Adams State College welcomes international students. All international students who desire to enter the college must comply with all provisions of the Immigration Act. A complete set of credentials for students planning to reside in the U.S. and verification of financial support must be sent to the Graduate School with a formal application for admission and a $30 nonrefundable application fee in U.S. dollars (credit card, check or money order). All information must be in English. The college must have proof of English proficiency. A minimum score of 550 (paper-based) or 213 (computer-based) on the Test of English as a Foreign Language (TOEFL) exam is considered acceptable. A score of 7.0 on the International English Language Testing System (IELTS) is acceptable. If a student attends an ESL program, successful completion of level 109 is considered acceptable.

The equivalent of a bachelor's degree must be earned to enter a graduate program at Adams State College. Potential graduate students should have undergraduate transcripts evaluated and/ or translated by World Educational Services or a similar organization. Transcripts should be sent directly to the organization, which will convert the undergraduate degree to its United States equivalent and send the results to Adams State College, if requested by the student.
