Learn About eBrary

What is eBrary?
eBrary is an eBook platform with hundreds of scholarly book titles. Adams State University subscribes to a wide range of titles through this platform. There is also a popular eBook platform called Overdrive.

How do I find books on eBrary?
You can find books on eBrary using one of three ways. The first was is to search the Adams State Library Catalog. eBrary books will say Available Online and have a blue access button you can click.

The second way is to search the main library search box and limit your results to books. eBrary books will say Online Access.

The third way is to search eBrary directly by clicking on the eBrary link on the Books library page. This way is the best as the eBrary search will search the full text as well as the title and table of contents. The other two searches do not search the full text for your search term. This way also allows you to browse by topic.

How do I access books off campus?
You can access books off campus by using your off-campus login. eBrary will automatically prompt you for this if you are off campus.

Do I need anything special on my computer to access eBrary?
