Scientific Method or Creative Process is Topics of Lecture (04-02-08)
The Adams State College Faculty Lecture Series continues with "Observation: The Nexus of Art & Science," by Dana Provence, assistant professor of art, at 7 p.m. Wednesday, April 9, in Porter Hall (the science building) room 130.
The 15 and 16 centuries witnessed the Renaissance of both art & science. The common ground of both artist and scientist is the ability to observe, document, and experiment. This fundamental approach has come to be known as "The Scientific Method to some and "The Creative Process" to others. Should there be a distinction?
Complimentary light refreshments will be offered. All talks are free and the public is invited. For further information on the faculty lecture series, contact Dr. Robert Astalos, assistant professor of physics, at 719-587-7821, or by email:rjastalos@adams.edu.
