ASC Trustees approve faculty promotions and tenure awards (04-06-09)
The Board of Trustees for Adams State College approved recommendations for faculty tenure awards and promotion in rank and at its meeting April 3.
Tenure was granted to: Dr. Robert Astalos, who was also promoted to associate professor of physics/mathematics; Dr. George Backen, who was also promoted to associate professor of philosophy; Dr. Lisa-Mari Centeno, who was also promoted to associate professor of government; Dr. Tony Weathers, who was also promoted to associate professor of mathematics; and Dr. Stephen Weiss, Associate Professor of Psychology. Dr. Stuart Hilwig was promoted to full professor of history.
