Lipke piano recital is April 14 (04-08-09)
Dr. William Lipke, professor of music at Adams State College, will give a faculty piano recital at 7:00 p.m. Tuesday, April 14, in Leon Recital Hall on the Adams State College campus. The program will include music of Ravel, Prokofiev and Brahms. Joining Lipke on the Brahms is Sharman Plesner, violin, Joy Plesner, viola, and Rebecca Caron, cello.
Lipke holds the Doctor of Musical Arts degree in piano performance from the University of Cincinnati College-Conservatory of Music. He has performed with musicians of international stature such as the Ying Quartet (four different seasons) and opera baritone Hakan Hagegard.
