ASC concert features music by student composers (04-21-09)

Paul Kobe plays his "junk set" during the EARTH Week talent show on April 13. Kobe, and fellow students Charles Dickinson, Marc Eaton, Paul Kobe, Melanie Hawthorne, Daniel Sours, and Antonio Lopez, will be featured during the Adams State College Music Department's Composers Concert at 7:30 p.m. Friday, May 1, in Leon Memorial Recital Hall.

The student composed pieces range from solo instrumental pieces to works for small chamber ensemble. Films with original film scores from student composers in the computer music class will also be shown during the concert.

The event is free to AS&F and Friends of Music, $5 adults and $1 for students. For more information call the Adams State College Music Department at 719-587-7621.
