Adams State College Robotic Society meets September 2

The Adams State College Grizzly Robotics Society first meeting of the year starts at 4 p.m. Thursday, Sept. 2, in the Science Activity Center, located on the north side of the Community Partnership Building, on Main Street and Edgemont Blvd. on the Adams State campus.

The club is open to all students and members of the community, membership is free. Adams State organizes the Colorado Robot Challenge and offers robotic workshops across the western states. A variety of robotic platforms, including Lego Mindstorms to the advanced ER1s and VEX units will be available for Grizzly Robotic Society members.

Other benefits include learning basic electronics; design, build, and program small autonomous robots; interact with others interested in robotics, and participation in community service.
