The Adams State College Luther Bean Museum documentary photo exhibit, "Recreate 68," by Bill Burch, is on display through February 27.

Burch attended the Democratic National Convention in Denver last August. He focused his photo essay on the events sponsored by the group, Recreate 68. According to Burch the group's goal is to change the status quo and bring voices of American not usually heard to the political spotlight.

Photos include images from the "End of Occupations Rally," protesting the occupation of Iraq, and the "Freedom Rally," supporting political prisoners. The latter began at Civic Center Park in Denver and migrated to the Federal Courthouse, where Denver police in riot mode began to disperse the crowd.

After Burch received his Bachelor of Art degree from Adams State in May 2007, he worked at the Shidoni Foundry in Tesuque, N.M. He is currently a graduate art student at Adams State.

Located in Richardson Hall, room 256, the Luther Bean Museum has a varied collection of antiques, art and artifacts, and is open from 8 a.m. until 4:30 p.m. Call 719-587-7151 for information.
