Musical Moments will feature a variety of entertainment (02-25-09)
The Adams State College Music Theatre Workshop class will present "Musical Moments," a performance with short scenes, arias, duets, quartets and ensembles from musicals and operas. The event begins at 7 p.m. Sunday and Monday, March 8 and 9, in Leon Memorial Hall.
The performance will have a nice variety of music, from silly to serious; musical moments from Broadway musicals, operas and patriotic music; old standards and numbers from current musicals; familiar operatic excerpts; and patriotic tunes.
The event is free to AS&F and Friends of Music, $5 adults and $1 for students. For more information call the Adams State College Music Department at 719-587-7621.
