ASC CEC spaghetti luncheon and dessert auction is a success (02-25-09)

Pictured, auctioneer Dr. Ed Crowther, chair of the history/government/philosophy department, entices bids for a chocolate cake during the Adams State College Classified Employee Council 9th Annual Spaghetti Luncheon and Dessert.

The fundraiser provides funding the classified employee scholarship, which benefits current or retired classified employees, and eligible family members, pursuing a degree at Adams State. According to Peggy Dunn, Adams State print shop manager and CEC secretary, through ticket purchases and donated desserts, the council raised over $1500, to help students with their tuition, books and fees.

"A special thank you to Dr. Ed Crowther for using his wonderful tenor voice to encourage bidding and humor to keep us all entertained," said Dunn. "As the auctioneer, he really is the life of the party."
