(02-17-2010)

In observance of Diversity Month at Adams State College, two panel presentations are scheduled to further understanding among religions. The first, "Anything You Want to Ask about Religion: An Interfaith Conversation" starts at 6 p.m. Monday, Feb. 22, in the Adams State Student Union Building Student Life Center. This panel will feature representatives from Jewish, Christian, Muslim and Buddhist traditions.

The second panel, "Who Do You Say That I Am? - Diversity within Christianity" starts at 6 p.m. Thursday, Feb. 25, in the Adams State Student Union Building Student Life Center. It will include representatives of various Christian denominations who will discuss how each responds to this provocative question posed by the Jesus of scripture.

The events are free and open to the public. All panelists will speak knowledgeably and from practical experience.

The events are sponsored by the Adams State College Office of Equal Opportunity, Student Engagement and Success, United Campus Ministry and the Grizzly Activities Board. For more information, call 719-587-7516.
