Adams State Theatre opens Fantasies and Nightmares
(02-22-2010)
Humor, sex, drama, faith, and fate are included in the two one-act plays directed by Adams State seniors, Deidre Mark, "Sleeping Beauty", and Amanda Lovitt, "Henry Flamethrowa", Mark said she chose her script "because it is funny. A woman's sexual fantasy shows up at her door." Lovitt describes her plot as a drama which examines good versus evil and choices of religious faith.
The directors recommend mature audiences only for Fantasies and Nightmares. The plays open at 8 p.m. Tuesday, Feb. 23, in the Xperimental Theatre and continue through February 27. Call 719-587-TIXX for reservations.
