Troposhere opening is February 11
The Adams State University Art Building will host an art installation, "Troposphere," through March with an opening reception from 5 p.m. until 7 p.m. Tuesday, Feb. 11, at the front entrance to the Art Building.
The artists Amy Kucera, Adams State graphic artist, and Laura Hopkins, art major, said they "really just wanted to work together on an installation piece." The troposphere is the lowest portion of Earth's atmosphere. "Tropo" is the Greek word for change.
"We wanted to represent the ever changing formation of shifting water vapor that we view as solid objects called clouds," Kucera said.
