Free constellation workshop

(01-29-2010)

The Adams State College Science Activity Center is hosting a free public workshop on winter constellations from 12:30 p.m. until 2:30 p.m. Saturday, Feb. 13, in the Science Activity Center. Participants will learn to identify bright winter constellations. Activities include constructing star charts, identifying the bright stars on those charts, and learning how to use the charts. As we develop the star charts, stories to help the participants learn constellations will be told.

The Science Activity Center is located on the north side of the Community Partnership Building, on Main Street and Edgemont Blvd. on the Adams State campus.
