Adams State hosts Healthy Garden Expo
Adams State University Human Performance and Physical Education Department (HPPE) and the campus Empower U committee will host a Healthy Garden Expo from 11 a.m. until 3 p.m. Saturday, Feb. 22, in the East Campus Building, located on La Veta Avenue and First St.
The event will include over 30 tables filled with information and products showing the cycle of health, from the soil – to seed – to you.

The event is part of the 2014 Grow a Garden Series, highlighting organic gardening and the cycle of health in the San Luis Valley. The series includes the Fourth Annual San Luis Valley Seed Exchange from 11 a.m. until 3 p.m. Saturday, Feb. 15, at the Crestone Charter School, located at 330 Lime Ave., in Crestone.
