ASC Science Saturday attracts many
A piece of paper, mini-marshmallows, and colored toothpicks are all scientific equipment, according to Dr. Randy Emmons, emeritus professor of physics. On November 20, the Adams State College Science Saturday, in the Science Activity Center, focused on crystals. Pictured, participants make shapes demonstrating the many forms of atoms. Dr. Rob Benson, associate professor of geology, used real specimens and models to illustrate the many forms of crystals. The final 2010 Science Saturday is December 4 and yeast and chlorophyll will be the subjects.
