ASC CASA hosts flamenco music and dancing

Adams State College Cultural Awareness & Student Achievement (CASA) is proud to present an evening of flamenco music and dancing with Ronaldo Baca, Albuquerque, N.M. The performance starts at 7:30 p.m. Saturday, Oct. 2, in the Student Union Building Food Court. The event is free and open to the public. Refreshments will be served.

An accomplished performer of flamenco, jazz, classical guitar, and the Arabic lute (also known as the Oud), Baca has been playing for New Mexico audiences for 20 years at venues such as the National Hispanic Culture Center of New Mexico, El Rey, Albuquerque Convention Center, La Posada Hotel, Cafe Broadway, Silk Road, and the Santa Fe Play House. Outside of New Mexico he has performed in Hollywood, Calif.; Las Vegas, Nev.; Denver, Colo.; Lawrence, Kan.; Amarillo, Texas, and Jerez de la Frontera, Spain.
