No injuries reported following gunshots heard on ASU campus
No injuries or damage were discovered in relation to an incident of gunshots heard at approximately 10 p.m., Thursday, January 15, near the Adams State University campus. "This was not an active shooter incident. Officers heard gunshots from outside," said Adams State Vice President of Student Affairs Ken Marquez.
He added no suspects have yet been identified, but police are following up on reports of a dark-colored sedan and white pick-up truck seen in the vicinity at the time.

One imported case from Liberia and associated locally acquired cases in healthcare workers have been reported in the United States. The Centers for Disease Control & Prevention and partners are taking precautions to prevent the further spread of Ebola within the United States. The Colorado Department of Public Health and Environment (CDPHE) is also following the situation closely, and continues to work with CDC, as well as the Alamosa County Department of Public Health.
