Adams State University is pleased to host Colorado Governor John Hickenlooper as he signs House Bill 16-1444 into law on the Adams State University campus at 9:45 a.m. Friday, May 27, in front of Richardson Hall.
House Bill 16-1444 Definition Qualifying Disabled Veteran Prop Tax, relates to a property tax exemption for such individuals who have been established with service-connected disability by the Federal Department of Veterans Affairs.
"Now all qualified Colorado veterans will be able to take advantage of property tax exemptions that they deserve," said Gov. John Hickenlooper.
The event is open to the community.
