The Adams State University Concert and Chamber Choirs will perform at 7 p.m. Friday, April 24, in the Sacred Heart Church, located in Alamosa.
Chamber Choir will perform Brahms’ Liebeslieder (Lovesong) Waltzes. They will be accompanied by Dr. William Lipke and Tyleen Stults on piano. Concert Choir will perform a variety of pieces including an early Renaissance setting of the Gloria text, the folk song, "Loch Lomond," "Prayer of the Children," and an historical musical tour through the ages involving a favorite childhood tune.
The San Luis Valley Children’s Chorus, under the direction of Meghan Goodner, will also perform at the concert.
