The Adams State University Annual Composers Choir will perform at 7 p.m. Saturday, April 25, in Leon Memorial Hall, located on the Adams State campus.
The concert will feature newly written chamber music by student composers Ben Paden, Dryden Hill, Logan Hjelmstad, Lais Harmsen, Sage Vickers, and Jon Colson. These pieces will be performed by ASU students and faculty. In addition, film music composed in the music recording class will be featured. This year, a contest was held for an outstanding high school composition to be included on the concert. Drake Rutherford, a junior at Coronado High School, won the composition for his piece "Crystal Quintet" which will be performed by ASU students.
