Adams State University and Trinidad State Junior College will host the 3rd Annual SLV Economic Summit at 8 a.m. Monday, Aug. 5 in the Student Union Building Banquet Rooms.
This year the event will feature SLV Industry Hemp Progress, Downtown Colorado Revitalization, Local Foods, SLV Business Support, and a panel on Regional Business Expansion, Retention and Innovation.
Speakers will include Dr. Stephan Weiler from Colorado State University; Katherine Correll from Downtown Colorado, Inc.; Betsy Markey from Colorado Office of Economic Development and International Trade (OEDIT); Monte Robertson from SLV Hemp; and Thomas Monaco from SLV Small Business Development Center.
The event is open to the public.
