Adams State University students, faculty, staff and community members gathered for an ice cream social and a group "rainbow" photo in recognition of the Standing Strong Equality Project, on September 30. Ice cream was served from Grove Street Coffee and Ice Cream. Standing Strong events continue through Saturday, October 3, including the production of Standing on Ceremony: The Gay Marriage Plays at 7:30 p.m. Friday and Saturday, on the Theatre Main Stage; a performance by Lost and Found, the comedy improv troupe, at 10 p.m. on Friday, in the Xperimental Theatre; and a show of support during the Homecoming Parade at 10 a.m. on Saturday.
