The seminar’s faculty are highly experienced and nationally recognized percussionists including Ted Atkatz, Tim Jones, James Doyle, Adams State associate professor of music; Parker Lee, and Shaun Tilburg.

Participants work closely with faculty in a friendly and collaborative environment through a variety of hands-on workshops, masterclasses, private lessons, ensemble rehearsals, and mock auditions. The seminar faculty encourage an upbeat communal experience, and participants will additionally have the opportunity to join in a variety of extracurricular activities and social hangouts.

Each seminar culminates in an ensemble performance hosted by students and faculty and comprised of pieces rehearsed throughout the week. Additionally, all participants are invited to compete in a mock audition for cash prizes, instruments, and equipment provided by generous sponsors.
