Secondary Education

42 hours for MA and initial secondary licensure – Online

  • Initial Licensure – 33 credit hours of coursework and supervised field experience, including one semester of student teaching.
  • Courses available world-wide

Elementary Education

51 hours for MA and initial elementary licensure – Online

  • Initial Licensure – 42 credit hours of coursework and supervised field experience, including one semester of student teaching.
  • Candidates will meet the READ Act requirement through Literacy & Language coursework, as well as receive Methods training in both Science and Math
  • Courses available world-wide

  • Post Baccalaureate Elementary Education MA degree is $22,000

  • Financial aid/loans for graduate students are available for those who qualify and opt to take the full program. Financial aid is not available for students who take only the licensure program.

Two Options

Initial Licensure only

Complete the minimum number of courses and earn your initial licensure in either Secondary or Elementary education. Note: If you only pursue the licensure program, you are not eligible for financial aid.

Initial License w/Master’s degree in Curriculum and Instruction

Complete all prescribed coursework and supervised field experiences, including one semester of student teaching, and earn your MA in Curriculum & Instruction and initial licensure simultaneously. This option allows for the use of financial aid for those who qualify.
