A robust two-day, onboarding is hosted before each Fall semester. NFO includes workshops, presentations, networking opportunities, and a chance to learn more about the campus, our histories, and our resources.

Faculty Mentoring Program
The faculty mentoring program consists of formal and informal meetings between new faculty and their mentors, along with socials throughout the year. New faculty are paired with members of the Adams State community based on need.

New Faculty Academy
A year-long cohort-based professional development series designed to support new faculty as effective and innovative teachers and leaders at Adams State University. Programming includes teaching-focused workshops and readings and a mentored project based on High Impact Practice. Faculty who complete this program will receive a commendation letter, a certificate of completion, and recognition on the CTIR website.
