Fifth annual ASGD is February 12
The fifth annual Adams State Gives Day will inspire and entertain as alumni and friends pledge financial support and give back to the University. The 60-minute talent show begins at 7 p.m. Monday, Feb. 12. There are two ways to enjoy this year’s event – live, in-person audience or livestream.
Adams State University School of Visual and Performing Arts Director John Taylor, Ph.D. and Olivia “Livv” Huffmaster, senior theatre major, will co-host the fast-paced evening of fun and celebration. The show features a range of talent including the Adams State Cheer Team; In Toto, an all student musical group; Adams State 68 West; and brief videos from Adams State Alumni Around the World. An introduction of the newest athletic team, the women wrestlers, will round out the on-stage, live event.
Students will staff a live telephone bank to accept pledges made during the talent show. Viewers can call in to make a gift or a pledge to 1-844-GIVE-ASU or 844-448-3278. Viewers can make gifts online. Pledges can also be made before and after the event by contacting the Adams State University Foundation Office at 719-587-7609.
