David Bertolatus, Ph.D., assistant professor of biology, co-authored a U.S. Geological Survey data release that was recently published. This publication contains the results of research investigating the occurrence and biological impacts of exposure to complex mixtures of PFAS chemicals. Exposure to these “forever chemicals” can have negative impacts on humans and wildlife. U.S.G.S. data releases are part of the open-data movement and they make publicly-funded research free and open to everyone. Visit USGS for the publication and full citation.
