I just completed my online application. Now what?
Your application will be processed by the Office of Graduate Studies who will then forward this information to the Department of Music. When we receive your information at the Department of Music, you will receive an email indicating your acceptance status.
This will usually occur within a week and as your first semester nears, you will be sent information instructing you about online registration for classes, lists of required textbooks, etc.
When is the deadline date for admissions?
Application Complete Deadline: July 25th

What are the requirements for application?
Is there a form required with the letters of recommendation?
No, there is no standard form needed.

Are all courses online?
For the fully-online track, yes. All courses are done on Blackboard and orientations, meetings, and oral exams are done via Zoom.
How do I access my classes?
Once you have been admitted and accept your admissions into the cohort, you will be issued student account information to activate. Using your user name and this password set up in the student account process, you will access your classes through Blackboard.
Do you accept a transfer of credits?
Up to six graduate credits from an accredited institution may be applied as electives to the fully online track. No other transfer credit will be accepted.
Can I take a graduate music course if I am not enrolled as a cohort?
If there is space available, students not enrolled in the masters program may take course/s of interest upon permission of instructor and meeting pre-requisites.
