The Adams State University Chamber and Concert Choirs will perform at 7 p.m. Friday, March 3, in the Alamosa Sacred Heart Catholic Church.
This diverse program will include works from Zambia as well as a Romani dance from Serbia. It will also include works by leading choral composer, Dan Forrest, including "Good Night, Dear Heart," based on the poem that Mark Twain placed on the tombstone of his beloved daughter, Susy, who died unexpectedly at age 24, and excerpts from Morten Lauridsen’s Les Chansons des Roses cycle, based on the poetry of Rainer Maria Rilke
