American Museum of Natural History
Adams State University has collaborated with the American Museum of Natural History (AMNH) to offer graduate credit or continuing education credits for the Museum’s ongoing online, six-week Seminars on Science courses. Students register for Adams State credit and submit a few additional requirements to Adams State University after completing the six-week, online course with the American Museum of Natural History.
Cost: To receive the 3 graduate credits from Adams State, you must first register and pay through AMNH for the course. You must also register for the 3 graduate credits through Adams State for an additional $270.
Requirements: Students must have a minimum of a bachelor’s degree to obtain graduate credit. Teachers registering for graduate credits or CEUs for licensing purposes should verify with their state educational licensing agency to determine which type of credit/unit is required.

National Virtual Teacher Association
Adams State University has collaborated with the National Virtual Teacher Association (NVTA) to offer 3 graduate credit hours for certification completion.
Cost: To receive the 3 graduate credits from Adams State, you must first register and pay through NVTA for the course, $599. You must also register for the 3 graduate credits through Adams State for an additional $165.
Requirements: Students must have a minimum of a bachelor’s degree to obtain graduate credit.
