The Grizzly Tutoring and STEM Center at Adams State University is dedicated to supporting the academic success of students. It’s a common space on campus where students and faculty gather to exchange knowledge and bond as a community in a comfortable, informal environment. As a complement to classroom learning, The Grizzly Tutoring and STEM Center provides a variety of resources to facilitate peer learning, including tutoring, group study sessions, and community outreach.

Supporting student success at Adams State, the Grizzly Tutoring and STEM Center also provides resources, such as graphing calculators, for students to checkout daily. If you are interested in checking out a calculator for day use, stop by one of these locations: the Grizzly Tutoring and STEM Center (3rd Floor of Porter Hall–319-G), Porter Hall Office-144 (1st Floor of Porter Hall), or the Nielsen Library. Give yourself extra time when checking out a calculator as there is a short form you will need to complete. Bring your student ID as well. We have a limited supply, so they are checked out on a first come, first serve basis.
