“Food studies and outdoor education and stewardship are the first of what will be several new degree programs. We think both of these new areas of study are of particular relevance to the San Luis Valley and we’re excited to get them launched and students enrolled in them,” said President Lovell.
“It’s inspired me to a level that I think Alamosa and Adams State is the best place on the planet. I think we can do things here with young men and young women that maybe they can’t do at other places.”
Through the Colorado Opportunity Scholarship Initiative Adams State University partnered with Conejos County and Trinidad State Junior College Educational Foundation to provide scholarships for 18 students from Conejos County.
“We’re excited to take Maroon basketball into Plachy Hall on Saturday,” said AHS Principal Andy Lavier.
The three have been collaborating on music and exchanges for several years, after rekindling a music school friendship.
Through the Colorado Opportunity Scholarship Initiative Adams State University partnered with Costilla County and Trinidad State Junior College Educational Foundation to provide scholarships for five students from Costilla County.
“The play focuses primarily on body image and how, unlike society’s ideal vision of beauty, all body types are beautiful,” Perez said.
“We welcome community members to gather in the warm, sun-drenched lobby and enjoy a hand-crafted beverage and snack,” Manzanares added.
“SLV Federal Bank Main Stage Theatre becomes my costar in this performance,” says Drew. “I use its idiosyncrasies to help tell the story.”
