Adams State University will participate in the seventh annual Colorado Free Application Day October 15-17. Apply online for free today.
In 2023, Adams State received 381 applications on the free application day and over 65,000 were received overall in Colorado colleges and universities. “This year Adams State’s goal is to receive 475 applications,” said Mark Buck, Adams State assistant vice president of enrollment management.
To inspire more Coloradans to continue their education, all 32 public colleges and universities in Colorado and several private institutions will allow students to apply for free from Tuesday, Oct. 15 through Thursday, Oct. 17, 2024.
“Earning a degree ensures students the opportunity to change not only their life, but the lives of future generations as well,” said Adams State University President David A. Tandberg, Ph.D. “The Valley invested in Adams State back in 1921, and we in turn are investing in the students of the Valley by participating in Colorado Free Application Day, implementing the Adams Promise Scholarship, and embracing our role as an engine of opportunity in the Valley and beyond.”
Colorado Free Application Day caps off Colorado Applies Month, a five-week statewide campaign that encourages high school juniors and seniors – and adults – to select an education or training option that’s best for them and apply to that program when eligible to do so. The statewide push is designed to increase Colorado’s college-going and FAFSA and CASFA completion rates. The campaign aims to support low-income and first-generation students and to help keep Colorado students in state.
