Adams State will host author and speaker Daniel Lehman

The
Adams State University English Department Distinguished Lecturer Series presents
"Literary Journalism and Its Social
History: What’s Still Important About the Form?
" with Dr. Daniel Lehman at
6:30 p.m. Monday, Oct. 10 in McDaniel Hall room 101. The event is free and open
to the public.

Lehman is co-founder and
co-editor of River Teeth: A Journal of Nonfiction Narrative and the River
Teeth
Literary Nonfiction Prize Series for the University of New Mexico
Press. He is author of books on literary nonfiction and John Reed and is
interim director of the Ashland University MFA Program. He is an Ashland University
Trustees’ Distinguished Professor of English.

The
Adams State Common Reading Experience will host an additional lecture by Lehman,
"Waiting for J.M. Coetzee: The Burden of
Race Where All Lives Matter
," at 6:30 p.m. Tuesday, Oct. 11, in McDaniel
Hall 101
.

Both
