Adams State Community Partnerships will host the Colorado Office of Economic Development and International Trade (OEDIT) from 4 p.m. until 6:30 p.m. Thursday, May 5, in the Adams State School of Business, room 142. State representatives will explain their Advanced Industries (AI) Accelerator programs.
The programs promote growth and sustainability in Colorado’s seven advanced industries by helping drive innovation, accelerate commercialization, encourage public-private partnerships, increase access to early stage capital and create a strong ecosystem that increases the state’s global competitiveness. The industries include: Advanced Manufacturing, Aerospace, Bioscience, Electronics, Energy & Natural Resources, Infrastructure Engineering and Technology & Information. The three types of funding available through this program are: 1) early stage capital & retention companies, 2) proof of concept and 3) infrastructure projects. The total amount awarded exceeds $35 million dollars.
