The Adams State University Co-Curricular Recreation and Engagement Office (CoRE) Cultural Awareness and Student Achievement (CASA) Center will host a Zumbathon Charity Event from 5:30 p.m. until 7:30 p.m. Friday, July 26, at the Sacred Heart Church Gymnasium, located on 715 E 4th St. in Alamosa.
No Zumba experience is required. Registration starts at 5 p.m. Cost of event is a $10 suggested donation. The Zumba fundraiser will feature Oneyda Maestas, CoRE CASA director; Sara Mobbley, Jessica Ornelas, Courtney Espinoza, and Carmen Stevens.
Proceeds will assist CASA Center students attending leadership conferences this year.
