The first Friday of every month, Adams State University art students organize an Art Hop. This month the event will be from 6 p.m. until 9 p.m. (or later) Friday, April 7, at the Nestle Toll House Café by Chip, located on 703 Main St. in Alamosa.
The artists include students of Adams State University. Mary Van Pelt, Adams State alumna, is one of the featured artists. There will be music by DJ Panda Style and entertainment including spoken word and poetry read aloud. This event is also a fundraiser for the Alamosa Art Hop committee and Nestle Toll House Café by Chip will donate 20 percent of all sales from the evening to the Art Hop committee.
The proceeds will help the committee to get necessary equipment and supplies for future events. This event is open to the public.
