The Department of Music at Adams State University presents Her Voice Uplifted: A Concert Celebrating Female Composers at 7 p.m. Tuesday, March 7, in Leon Memorial Hall.
This collaborative faculty recital is part of the Women’s Week activities on campus and will feature performances by Matthew Valverde, tenor; Tracy Doyle, flute; Chiho Sugo, clarinet; Angela Winter, horn; Lancer Hardy, bass; James Doyle, marimba and drum set; Caleb Clark, piano; and William Lipke, piano.
The performance will include works by Schumann, Chaminade, Boulanger, Higdon, Brandon, Matsushima, and Beglarian.
Her Voice Uplifted is part of Women’s Week.
