Jacek Jonca-Jasinski, Ph.D., has been appointed the Adams State University Assistant Vice President for Graduate Studies. His duties will include graduate recruitment and graduate-level program development.
“Dr. Jonca-Jasinski brings a wealth of hands-on experience and knowledge to Adams State at a critical time,” noted Kent Buchanan, Ph.D., vice president for Academic Affairs. “The graduate program is highly successful with huge growth potential; Dr. Jonca-Jasinski brings a valuable presence in this academic spectrum.”
Prior to joining Adams State, Dr. Jonca-Jasinski was director of graduate recruitment and admissions as well as a data scientist at Texas A&M-Corpus Christi, since 2000. Previously, Dr. Jonca-Jasinski served in a variety of capacities including director of the division of graduate and postdoctoral affairs, director of the graduate center, and graduate recruiter at Texas Tech.
Dr. Jonca-Jasinski earned an undergraduate degree in psychology from the University of Wroclaw in Poland while completing both a master’s degree in social psychology and a Ph.D. in experimental psychology from Texas Tech.
