The National Juried Exhibition, Suspend, opens in the Adams State University Art Department Cloyde Snook Gallery on October 15 and continues through November 8. An opening reception will be held from 5 p.m. until 7 p.m. Thursday, Oct. 18, in the Art Building.
Juried by Leslie Macklin, assistant professor of art, and Eugene Schilling, professor of art, the exhibit accepted all mediums of artwork that conceptually and/or literally explored the state of being suspended, either personally, politically, culturally, ethically. This exhibition the exhibit includes 32 artists from 18 states.
