Piano Taos will perform a Women Composers Concert at 7 p.m. Thursday, March 16, in Leon Memorial Hall, on the Adams State University Campus. The program features music by Cecile Chaminade, Maria Szymanowska, Ethel Smyth, Germaine Tailleferre, Clara Schumann and Lili Boulanger.
Performers include Claire Detels, Martha Shepp, Martha Grossman, Rebecca Caron and Kim Bakkum. The concert is part of the Ethos: Exploring Equity in Music series sponsored by the Music Department.
The recital admission is free to Friends of Music and members of Associated Students and Faculty; $1 for all other students; and $5 for general audiences.
