The spirit of celebration and goodwill spread throughout Adams State at the annual staff and faculty holiday party. Along with sharing food and drink provided by Sodexo Catering, the Adams State community participated in an ugly sweater contest. Edgar Martinez, recruiter for the Migrant Education Program, took first in the individual contest and Joel Givens, counselor education professor, received second place. The ugly sweater department contest included teams from the ASU Foundation and Alumni Relations, receiving first place; and Public Relations and Marketing taking second place.
Adams State will be closed from December 25 through January 1, 2019, for winter break. The 2019 Spring Semester begins January 14. New Student Orientation is Sunday, January 13.
