The Adams State University EARTH Week Sustainability Fair will offer something for everyone. The event will be held from 11 a.m. until 3 p.m. Wednesday, April 26, in the Student Union Building.
Whether you are a garage sale enthusiast or someone that appreciates art and crafts made from discarded material, there will be something there for you. Reusing is an important part of a clean economy. This event will demonstrate the creative ways people re-use and transform material into useful and decorative fine art. From doggie beds made from plastic farm twine to bulletin boards made from wine corks to notepads made from floppy discs, these are just a few of the things you will discover at The Sustainability Fair.
On display will be art installations that Adams State art students created in honor of Earth Week. Dedicated EARTH Club students will engage participants in their Reduce and Reuse Garage Sale. The event is free and open to the public.
