The Valley Community Chorus presents, Winter’s Night, a holiday concert which reflects on the meaning of this season with traditional favorites and non-traditional selections. This season Valley Community Chorus will perform on two dates: at 7 p.m., Friday, Dec. 9, at the Pioneer United Church, 630 Spruce St. in Del Norte, and at 2 p.m. Sunday, Dec. 11, in the Sanctuary of Sacred Heart Church, located in Alamosa, Colo.
Among the pieces featured will be favorites from John Rutter and selections from Fredrik Sixten and Jake Runestad.
"Join us, escape the hectic movement of the world, and reflect on the meaning of this season," said VCC director David Schneider.
Tickets are $5 and can be bought at the door the day of the concert. Students attend for free.
