Notifications to all graduating students will be sent via email to your grizzlies account as well as added to the Academic Calendar.

Cap and Gown

Orders should be placed as soon as possible to ensure delivery before the ceremony. Please be aware that the Adams State Bookstore will NOT have regalia available for purchase.

Instructions for Graduates

  • Caps should be worn level.
  • Associate degree candidates should wear tassels on the right.
  • Bachelor degree candidates should wear tassels on the right until instructed to move them to the left during the ceremony.
  • Master and doctoral degree candidates should wear tassels on the left.

Undergraduate Honors

Undergraduate students who will be graduating with honors (cumulative GPA of 3.5 or above at the end of the semester prior to graduation), will receive a white honors tassel from the Office of the Registrar at the commencement ceremony. The honors tassel should be worn in addition to the green one included with your regalia.
