Recruiting on the Adams State Campus
ASU's 7th Annual Local Job & Internship Fair! - Friday, September 22nd
It's that time of year again! The Adams State University students are back and looking for jobs for the semester!
Do you have job openings that need to be filled? Would your company be interested in hiring an intern for the year? Would you like to meet lots of potential employees all at once? Come out out to ASU's Annual Local Job Fair! It is free to sign up for a table, and you will get lunch!
Date: Friday, September 22nd
Time: 10:00 am- 3:00 pm (set up at 9:30am)
Location: Adams State University, Student Union Building- Ballrooms
Registration Fee: FREE!!!!
What you can expect: On the day of the event you will get lunch for up to 2 people, wireless internet access, one 6' table and 2 chairs. If you have more than two people attending, additional lunches can be purchased for $10 per person. This is a flow event. Students and alumni will be coming through at different times throughout the day. Please plan to have someone from your organization in attendance for entire duration of the event.

Etiquette Dinner and Fashion Show! Wednesday, March, 7th
The etiquette dinner is back, with a twist! Tasty Food and an entertaining Fashion Show!
Employers are invited to host a table! This a great way to get your company name out there- and to recruit and meet out Adams State Students!

The 8th Annual Career Fair - Thursday, March, 8th
Our Spring Career Fair will take place on Thursday, March 8, 2017 from 10am - 3pm in the Student Union Building. Adams State University Career Services is starting early and working hard to make sure that this event will feature a diverse group of highly-qualified students and alumni. This year, we will also be opening our doors to Trinidad State Junior College students and local community members who are seeking positions!
Date: Thursday March 8, 2017
Time: 10:00am- 3:00pm
Registration cost is $40 and includes lunch for two, wireless internet access, 6' table, and two chairs. Additional lunches can be purchased for $10 each for parties having more than two representatives.
Individual Employer Recruitment Sessions
Recruiters are allowed to come to campus for free and recruit students independently. Please contact Career Services to make arrangements for use of campus facilities that would meet your recruiting needs. Recruiters will not be allowed to recruit independently within the week before scheduled job fairs. If notified at least one month before recruiting, we will provide the following services to help market your visit:
- An announcement will be posted with ASU's online job board/networking site. Contact us to start the process of being able to post your positions on the Grizzly Careers system.
- We will design and post posters across the campus announcing your visit.
- Career Services will also email an announcement of your visit to appropriate students and faculty for announcement in appropriate classes.
Recruiting options available to you. You may choose one, or all:
- Information booth at the Student Union Building
- Information sharing session(s) in the evening
- Classroom presentations
Please notify us no less than one month before a scheduled recruitment for schedule/program changes.
